Doug is a fantastic electronic music production tutor. I only had basic experience with Ableton before working with Doug and the course was designed to get me to proficiency with the workflow. Doug explains concepts very clearly and took me through the process of building various projects with different techniques, as well as giving me pointers on the creative process and how to layer and vary songs. Doug was always accommodating and the online sessions were what I needed in terms of flexibility to fit around my schedule. Highly recommended.

As a DJ for over 2 decades, I felt it was FINALLY time to step up and learn some production. Doug at EMT was exactly what I needed! The sessions were laid out well, and the recordings are great for when I need to go back and review anything. Great tuition from Craig at EMT. Structured/tailored lessons based on your experience/skill level. the lessons are recorded so you can go back over them in your own time. Craig really knows his stuff and packs a lot into the hour, so you feel like you're getting a lot for your money. Can't rate this highly enough, my knowledge has improved a lot and it's satisfying putting what you've learned into practice. Craig has a friendly, laid back teaching style and makes the lessons really enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Can’t recommend this highly enough. I’ve been using EMT to learn new production techniques, from sound design through to mixing and everything in between. My lessons with EMT came at the perfect time of my production journey - had finished composing my 1st serious track but was in the dark about how to approach the mix down stage so that I could finish it and finally put the music out!

Everything was explained and laid out in the lessons in a methodical and logical way that helped me to remember what was important at each stage, and also why they needed to be done.

All in all I feel like the mix down process has been demystified for me and I feel way more confident to move ahead and repeat the process on future tracks by myself, which is exactly what I hoped to gain from the lessons.
